Free Robotics Workshop for Teachers Offered

Concordia College Graduate and Continuing Studies is offering a free robotics workshop consisting of a 100% virtual NASA-in-the-Classroom professional development activity.

The workshop is open to all Minnesota K-12 educators (and, space permitting,
education majors).

Participants will receive a free Sphero robot and join their class as they learn how to integrate coding into their science curriculum.

No prior knowledge of coding or robotics is needed to participate in this workshop. All levels of experience, content knowledge, or grade level taught are welcome and encouraged to participate.

The four-day online workshop starts on Monday, August 2, 2021, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and continues on August 3, 5, and 6 from 9 a.m. to Noon.

The workshop is free but pre-registration is required, and space is limited. Teachers may optionally choose to receive 0.5 credits for a tuition fee of $62.50.

For more details and to register, please visit the workshop website.
