Bulldog Rocketry Team

The Bulldog Rocketry Team from the University of Minnesota – Duluth is designing and building a rocket, propelled by a student designed hybrid engine, to fly in the 30,000 ft class at the Intercollegiate Rocket Engineering Competition (IREC). When Bulldog Rocketry launches the rocket, it will have a winged drone stored in it that can be controlled from the ground. At apogee the drone will come out of its internal housing and do flight patterns until it has to come back to the ground. Through this effort Bulldog Rocketry can do many things from scientific studies to aerial reconnaissance at an estimated price of less than 500 dollars per launch (after everything is constructed).
