FDLTCC provides MnSGC programming to Native American communities, and others, in the northeastern part of Minnesota. MN Space Grant activities at FDLTCC are coordinated by the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) program, but opportunities are available to students across the campus.

- Administer FDLTCC’s MnSGC activities and provide data for NASA reporting

Scholarships, Fellowships, Internships
- Provide scholarship support to FDLTCC students majoring in areas of interest to NASA

Higher Education
- High-power rocketry – participation in the First Nation’s Launch competition in Wisconsin
- NASA-related curriculum development in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Mathematics

Pre-College / Teacher Development
- Teacher workshops (some years) on Native American Astronomy with St. Cloud State University planetarium’s “Native Skywatcher” program

Informal Education / Outreach
- Model rocket-building workshops with local pre-college students
